Step by Step

Step 1: Together, my fantastic Adviser Laurie Barber and I curated an Amazon Wishlist with a variety of books in Spanish.We chose books that were both fiction and non-fiction along with books that were at different reading levels. We also made sure to include books that told stories about Mexican history and Mexican culture. 

 

Step 2: Those who would like to donate can visit our wish list and pick what books they would like to purchase. The wish list is programmed to ship the books directly to me, so there is no hassle for our lovely dona- tors to get them to me!

Step 3: I gather the books and ship them to The Rita Perez School in Mexico. They will be held there while the school builds shelves for the library. We will continue to update the Amazon Wishlist with more books, and continue to spread the word about our project. Our goal is to gather as many books as we can!

Step 4: I will personally travel to Mexico during August to install and set up the library.With your help, we hope to have the library up and running for the 2020-2021 school year!
